Mr. Larry Ettah
Ag. Chairman

One time Divisional Meals/Component Director, UAC Foods Division, Ag. Divisional Managing Director Fast Foods, pioneer Divisional Managing Director Mr. Biggs Division, appointed Head of Human Resources and member of the Board of Directors of UAC of Nigeria Plc on the 1st of January 2004. He became Group Managing Director/CEO of UAC of Nigeria Plc on the 1st of January 2007. He is the Chairman of UNICO CPFA Limited.

Mrs Omolara Elemide
Managing Director

Mrs. Elemide joined the Board of CAP Plc in March 2005, as Finance Director, having worked in various capacities as Internal Check Manager, Financial Accountant and Management Accountant within the UACN Group. She served in the then Unilever International Audit as Senior Group Audit Manager from 1991-1996 after which she became the UACN Audit Manager. Prior to her secondment to CAP Plc, she was the Finance Director of UACN Property Development Co. Plc. She has had various local and international trainings in the course of her career with UACN, amongst which is Strategy & Finance at the Ashridge Institute of Management, UK.

Mr. Bashir Korede Abdulah
Finance Director

Mr. Abdulah is a 1984 graduate of Economics from the University of Lagos. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1990.  He has varied experience in different sectors namely Banking & Finance, Logistics, Oil & Gas as well as Government Agencies. He joined the UACN Plc Group in 1999 as an Auditor and has worked in various capacities within the Group. Prior to his appointment as Finance Director, CAP PLC, he was Divisional Commercial Manager, MDS Logistics, a division of UAC of Nigeria PLC.  He has attended many professional, management and Leadership Development programs and participated at the World Congress of Accountants in Istanbul, Turkey in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Associate member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria

Dr. SOLOMON AIGBAVBOA
Director

Solomon, a Pharmacist, joined the Board of CAP Plc on 5th May 2008. He started his career with UAC of Nigeria Plc on June 16, 1997 as Personal Products Manager in the then GBO/MDS Division of UACN. He also worked in various capacities as the Product Group Manager – Staples & Personal Products, Depot Manager MDS Jos, Regional Manager, East. He was the pioneer Manager, Haulage $ Redistribution for MDS and promoted to the position of the National Customer Service Manager in January 2004. In October 2005, he was appointed the GM Franchise Operations of Mr Biggs until October 2006 when he was transferred to UAC Foods as General Manager, Snacks a position he held until his resignation in September 2008. He is currently the General Manager North-West of Zain Nigeria.
A recipient of numerous awards some of which include the federal Government Post Graduate Scholarship and the Federation of International Pharmacists ( FIP ) Holland awards for young Pharmacists in developing countries.

 

Dr. Umaru Alka
Director
Dr. Alka, an expert in environmental pollution and conservation had his secondary education at the prestigious King’s College, Lagos. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from where he earned a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. He holds a Ph.D in Environmental Control Engineering from New Castle Upon-Tyne, United Kingdom. He worked with the Bauchi State Water Board from 1976 to 1985 and the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (formerly Abubakar Tafawa Balewa College of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria) from 1985 to 1987. From 1987 to date he has run his own Environmental and Water Resources Engineering outfit, Alka-Chem Limited. He has also, at various times, served on the Boards of the Federal Housing Authority, Bauchi State Water Board, Lake Chad Research Institute; and as an Adviser to the Bauchi State Government on environment, industrialisation and water resources Development. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Institution of Water Pollution Control (U.K) and Institution of Public Health Engineering (U.K).

Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje

Mr. Agbaje holds a first degree in Law from University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife) and Masters’ Degrees in both Law and Business from the University of Lagos and IESE Business School, Spain respectively. He has a multi-disciplinary background and professional experience including legal practice in a top law firm for two years; over 16 years in banking and finance and has since 2004 managed Resources and Trust Company Limited (RTC), a leading strategy and business advisory Company as Senior Consultant/CEO. Mr. Agbaje writes a weekly column in BusinessDay Nigeria and is a regular speaker at conferences, seminars and discussions on economy, business and national development.
